Getting here: Thorold and Niagara Falls

Thorold sits right on the QEW corridor between Hamilton and Niagara Falls, so driving is straightforward. Here is how long the main routes usually take.

Driving times (approximate, without traffic)

  • From Toronto and Pearson Airport: roughly 1 hour 30 minutes via the QEW
  • From Hamilton: roughly 45 to 50 minutes
  • From Buffalo, New York: roughly 1 hour plus time at the border, crossing at the Rainbow Bridge or Queenston-Lewiston
  • From Niagara Falls attractions to the suite: about 14 minutes from Clifton Hill

Crossing from the United States

Bring a valid passport, NEXUS card or other accepted travel document. Border wait times vary, so check them before you leave, especially on holiday weekends.

Parking and transit

Free on-site parking is included with your stay. GO Transit and VIA Rail serve the Niagara Falls station, but a car or rideshare is the easiest way to reach Thorold. The WEGO visitor bus connects the main tourist areas in Niagara Falls.
